Glasgow Rangers defender Lee Wallace's time at Ibrox appears to be coming to an end after the Scottish Cup semi-final.

While the brief statement sbo666 that Rangers put out on their official website on Tuesday may have left few questions regarding Kenny Miller's future at Ibrox, it would have done little to really address the situation surrounding Lee Wallace.

Miller is out of contract at the end of the season and with five games to go in the Scottish Premiership, it would be a huge surprise if there was enough time for a sufficient turnaround that leads to the veteran playing for the club again.

But with the Daily Record reporting that Wallace has one more year on his contract, it may have been less obvious what the future held for the left-back - especially when it is considered just how much Wallace has given to the Gers during his career.

However, the Record is now reporting that Rangers have now made the 30-year-old available for a transfer this summer with the report suggesting that the Gers were particularly upset with his conduct in the wake of the semi-final.

Of course, it would surely be a mistake to predict that Wallace will never play sbo666 for Rangers again. Without knowing the exact details that led to the pair's suspension, it may not be out of the question to suggest that he can turn his situation around once the dust settles.

With Murty only under contract until the end of the season, Wallace's situation may be reviewed in the coming months if a new manager comes in and decides that he wants the full-back to have a role to play next season. And, again while it is difficult to make assumptions without knowing details of what went on at Hampden Park, the Rangers board may be prepared to look at what Wallace has done for the club and consider opening the door for him to return.

But as things stand right now, the Record's suggestion that he is now on the market ahead of the summer certainly hints that the Rangers hierarchy have little sbo666 intention of considering a reprieve.
